NELLCO is governed by a 24-member Board of Directors. There is a 5-member Executive Committee. Current officers and their duties are listed below.
Pat Newcombe, Western New England University School of Law, Associate Dean for Library and Information Resources
As the chief executive officer of the corporation, the President is responsible for the management of all functions of the consortium. He/She supervises the Executive Director. The president must attend all meetings and call Executive Board meetings, as he/she deems necessary. In general, the President promotes the activities and advancement of the consortium; encourages Directors to engage staff members to become involved on NELLCO sub-committees and projects.

As vice-president is responsible for attending all meetings supervising Executive Director and Directors in absence of the president.

With the past experience of the presidential responsibilities, the past president advises the Executive Board and remains an active participant of the Executive Committee.

Supervises the Executive Director with regards to all financial decisions, budgeting and tax preparation. Reports to the Directors on all financial matters; Recommends dues increases to the Executive Board.

As the Chief Executive of NELLCO, Corie is responsible for the day-to-day business of the organization.
